Welcome to Adventure Camp! One of the questions I keep getting asked concerns firewood. YES we have plenty of firewood here at the camp. Please do not bring any firewood with you into camp! We are trying to stop the spread of insect pests (such as Emerald Ash Borer, Gypsy Moth, etc.) which are often carried into unaffected areas on firewood. Help keep our camp pest free! Thanks for your help! Jeff |
2007 brought many changes to camp. One of the most obvious is the name, the TFC Ranch is now known as the BSA Adventure Camp. The addition of an enclosed shower facility is welcome to most, though some will miss looking at the stars during shower-time. I’d like to thank both lodges for their help this year; there was a lot of clean-up after many fallen trees in the spring, the floods this summer, and the construction. I’d also like to thank the work crew, who has done some major “behind-the-scenes” work over the past year and a half. Thanks to all who have been able to make on these weekends! 2008 should bring even more positive changes to camp, and more work to get ready for the future!
